Upcoming Parent Partnership Experience with Mike Scotland
At Banana Moon Dyce, we deeply value the partnerships we build with our families. These relationships help shape meaningful experiences for our children and strengthen the sense of community that sits at the heart of our nursery.
This December, we are delighted to welcome parent and mental health advocate Mike Scotland into the nursery for a very special visit. Although many know Mike for his inspiring talks and impactful work, he will be joining us in the most important role of all — as a proud dad.
Mike will be spending time with our children, offering a Doric book reading, a mental wellbeing session, and joining the bairns for a small litter-picking activity to show how even tiny hands can make a big difference. These experiences perfectly align with our values of kindness, confidence, community, and pride.
In sharing his excitement about the upcoming visit, Mike expressed how meaningful it is for him to contribute to the place that has given his daughter so much love, safety, growth and joy. As a nursery, hearing this from one of our parents means more than words can express.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Serena Rae, our Deputy Manager, for organising and supporting this wonderful opportunity for the children.
At Banana Moon Dyce, we know that sometimes the most powerful moments happen in the smallest rooms — surrounded by tiny shoes, big hearts, and curious minds. We look forward to welcoming Mike and creating a memorable experience for our little learners.
Positive energy and smiles all around — we’re ready for December. 🌙✨
