Banana Moon Dyce Welcomes Ash and Ember

We are delighted to introduce the newest members of our nursery family — Ash and Ember.

Since joining us at Banana Moon Dyce, the chicks have settled in beautifully and are already enjoying spending time with Smokey as they begin to grow and explore together.

The children have shown fantastic care, kindness and curiosity while observing the chicks and learning how to look after them. Through conversations, questions and hands-on experiences, the children are developing a greater understanding of animals, growth and life cycles in a meaningful and engaging way.

Experiences like this help to support children’s understanding of the world around them while building empathy, responsibility and curiosity through real-life learning opportunities. These shared experiences also help to develop children’s cultural capital by providing memorable and enriching opportunities that encourage exploration and discussion.

We are looking forward to continuing this learning journey with the children and can’t wait to watch Smokey, Ash and Ember grow together.
