At Banana Moon Dyce, we are privileged to be part of many important stages in a child’s early years journey. Watching children grow in confidence, develop their independence and prepare for their next steps is one of the most rewarding parts of our role.
Recently, one of our Full Moon children prepared to leave Banana Moon Dyce to begin their next adventure at school nursery. Before moving on, they surprised our team with thoughtful gifts, a beautiful handmade rainbow and a heartfelt card.
The unexpected gesture meant a great deal to our team and provided a special opportunity to reflect on the relationships, experiences and memories created during the child’s time with us.
Throughout their nursery journey, we have had the privilege of watching them develop their confidence, independence and individual personality. Supporting children as they grow and preparing them for positive transitions is an important part of our early years practice.
Transitions can bring a mixture of emotions for children, families and practitioners. By working closely with families, sharing information and recognising each child’s individual needs, we aim to ensure children feel supported and confident as they move on to new environments and experiences.
The handmade rainbow has already found a special place within our nursery and will remain a lovely reminder of the child and the memories shared during their time at Banana Moon Dyce.
We would like to thank the child and their family for their kindness and generosity and for allowing us to be part of their early years journey.
Although saying goodbye is never easy, we are incredibly proud to see our Full Moon ready to take this next step. We wish them every happiness and success as they begin their new adventure at school nursery, and they will always remain a valued part of the Banana Moon Dyce family.
