At Banana Moon Dyce, we recognise the important role families play in children's learning, development and wellbeing. To celebrate International Family Day, we were delighted to welcome our families into nursery for a special Breakfast Morning filled with quality time, shared experiences and meaningful connections.
The morning provided a wonderful opportunity for children and their families to spend time together within the nursery environment, enjoying breakfast while taking part in a range of activities and exploring the different learning spaces throughout the setting.
It was lovely to see children proudly sharing their favourite areas of the nursery, introducing family members to their friends and practitioners, and demonstrating the activities and experiences they engage with each day. From imaginative play and mark making opportunities to reading stories and enjoying breakfast together, the nursery was filled with smiles, laughter and conversation throughout the morning.
Events such as these play an important role in strengthening our partnerships with families. By creating opportunities for parents and carers to become involved in their child's nursery experience, we help build strong, trusting relationships that support children's learning and development both at home and within the setting.
At Banana Moon Dyce, we believe that positive family partnerships are at the heart of high-quality early years practice. Working together enables us to create a consistent, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and valued.
We would like to thank all of the families who joined us and helped make the morning such a special occasion. It was a pleasure to share this time together and celebrate the important role families play in every child's journey.
