Celebrating Hector’s 1st Birthday at Banana Moon Dyce

🎈🎂 Happy 1st Birthday, Hector! 🎂🎈

Today we celebrated a very special milestone for our Giant African Land Snail, Hector — he’s now 1 year old! 🥳

The children helped create a special birthday treat made from Hector’s favourite veggies 🥒🍎🥕 and spent time observing and chatting about how much he has grown. 🐌

Our Full Moons sang a heartfelt Happy Birthday to Hector and absolutely loved celebrating his big day — there were lots of smiles, curious questions, and gentle snail admiration. 🎉

We also took time to reflect on how we care for living things 🌿, what snails need to stay healthy, and shared our favourite things about our shelled friend. 🩵💛

Sometimes the slowest creatures remind us to stop, look closely, and appreciate the little things. ✨
