🍀 St Patrick’s Day Celebrations at Banana Moon Dyce 🍀

The children had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day here at Banana Moon Dyce with a fun and creative activity inspired by the colour green.

The children explored a printing activity using green peppers, dipping them into green paint and stamping them onto paper to create shapes that looked just like lucky four-leaf clovers. This hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, creativity and sensory exploration as the children experimented with different textures, shapes and colours.

Alongside the activity, we also looked at pictures of clovers and St Patrick’s Day celebrations, sparking conversations about the colour green and the different things we might see during this special day.

Activities like this help support children’s fine motor skills, creativity and early mark-making, while also giving them the opportunity to explore seasonal celebrations in a fun and meaningful way.

It was lovely to see the children so engaged and proud of the artwork they created. A fantastic way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day together at the nursery. 🍀💚
